Concert for kids
What Is It: "Uncle Gerry" Dignan, a popular performer for children, headlines a concert for a cause today at Congregation Beth Judah in Ventnor. The show is sponsored by Music Together of Ocean City and Egg Harbor Township, a program that teaches the joys of music to children and their parents.
What To Expect: Dignan plays in a variety of styles, and is touring the country playing Music Together concerts. Other performers include local Music Together teachers and directors. The proceeds benefit Jewish Family Services of Atlantic County and St. Peter's United Methodist Church of Ocean City. Both have emphasized Hurricane Sandy relief since the storm.
