Bob Saget at Borgata

Who Is He: Philadelphia native Bob Saget, 57, became one of television's most recognizable stars thanks to his role on ABC's "Full House," which ran from 1987 to 1995. Saget headlines tonight at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.

What To Expect: In sharp contrast to his television personas, Saget's stand-up performances are ripe with obscenities and are not intended for children, who have become fans of "Full House" thanks to reruns. In fact, Saget often mocks the show and his goofy character in his act. For people who found his television one-liners intolerable, his stand-up routine is a breath of fresh air.

Event Info: Saget performs 9 tonight in Music Box at Borgata. Tickets, priced at $39.50 and $45, are available at the Borgata box office, theborgata.com or pressofatlanticcity.com/tickets

Steely Dan at Borgata

Who Are They: Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Walter Becker and Donald Fagen are the songwriting tandem that is Steely Dan. The band combined jazz, pop, blues and R&B with harmonies and catchy hooks to create a sound all its own during the 1970s. Steely Dan performs tonight at Revel.

What To Expect: The lineup has changed somewhat over the years, but the focus of the group has remained intact with Becker, 63, and Fagen, 65, still at the helm. Steely Dan played in November 2011 in New Zealand. Their set list included the songs "Rikki Don't Lose That Number," "Reelin' in the Years," "My Old School," "Do It Again" and "Kid Charlemagne."

Event Info: Steely Dan performs 8 tonight in Ovation Hall. Tickets, priced at $65.50, $85.50, $95.50, $125.50, are available at Revel's box office, Ticketmaster or
