Earth, Wind & Fire at Borgata
During the 1970s, Earth, Wind & Fire became one of the most critically acclaimed and successful funk bands, incorporating elements of jazz, soul, gospel, pop, rock, blues and disco. They headline tonight and Saturday at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.
Lead singer Philip Bailey, bassist Verdine White and percussionist and vocalist Ralph Johnson are still in the group from the band's classic period. The ensemble did a concert earlier in the month in Colorado. The songs they performed included "That's the Way of the World," "Keep Your Head to the Sky," "After the Love is Gone," "Boogie Wonderland," "Sing a Song" and "Shining Star."
If You Go: Earth, Wind & Fire performs 8 p.m. today and Saturday in the Event Center at Borgata. Tickets, priced at $56, $66 and $76, are available at PressofAtlanticCity.com/tickets or TheBorgata.com
