Food festivals in A.C.
Golden Nugget Atlantic City is bringing three festivals to the marina district this summer.
The Cal-Ital Winefest showcases wines from California and Italy Aug. 17 to 19. Sample wines from 25 wineries and mingle with winemakers at H20 Pool Bar 8 to 10 p.m. Aug. 17 for $35 or go bigger on Aug. 18 - taste 120 varieties of brunellos, cabernets and barolos starting at 7 p.m. - for $65. Live jazz music and food pairings accompany both events. A $35 brunch Aug. 19 features sparkling wines and a fashion show 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Or do all three events for $99 when you register in advance.
The free Bubba Gump Co. Shrimp Fest noon to 8 p.m. Sept. 1 and 2 offers live entertainment, vendors and games on The Deck overlooking the marina, as well as a menu inspired by the movie.
Closing out the summer is a full-on beer festival complete with craft-beer tasting 7 to 10 p.m. Sept. 29 and Oktoberfest party with beer maidens at noon Sept. 30. The beer-tasting event costs $49.
