for veterans

What Is It: To honor veterans for their service, Smithville Barber Shoppe has a tradition of offering free haircuts for Veterans Day. And this year, the national holiday is being officially celebrated today.

What To Expect: At this shop in Historic Smithville, haircuts aren't the only free Veterans Day items. Owner Steve Fitzgerald will also give away hot dogs, have live music and transportation for disabled vets.
