'Julie & Julia' in Ocean City

What Is It: With Meryl Streep, above, and Amy Adams as the stars, the film "Julie & Julia" will be shown tonight at the Ocean City Public Library.

What To Expect: "Julie & Julia," released in 2009, intertwines Julia Child's story of her start in the cooking profession with blogger Julie Powell's 2002 challenge to cook all the recipes in Child's first book. Streep plays Child. Adams portrays Powell. The late Nora Ephron wrote the screenplay and directed the 123-minute, PG-13 rated movie. Streep was nominated for a best actress Oscar for her performance.

Event Info: The picture will be shown 6:30 tonight in the meeting room, Room 110, on the 17th Street side of the library, located at 1735 Simpson Ave., Ocean City. Admission is free.
