Wilson Phillips, the pop trio made up of the daughters of pop royalty, will star in a free June 15 concert on the beach at Atlantic City’s Resorts Casino Hotel.
The day’s lineup includes Andy Grammer, who made a splash last year with his pop hit, “Keep Your Head Up,” and Mac McAnally, a country star with close musical ties to Jimmy Buffett, the man behind the Margaritaville brand. The $35 million Margaritaville complex, featuring a year-round Landshark beach bar, is set to open Memorial Day weekend at Resorts.
The headliners, Wilson Phillips, feature Carrie and Wendy Wilson, the daughters of Beach Boys legend Brian Wilson, and Chynna Phillips, whose parents are John and Michelle Phillips of the Mamas and the Papas. The trio’s new record, “Dedicated,” covers some of the classics of their parents’ bands.
The day of free music is set to run from 1 to 10 p.m. For more details, see resortsac.com.
