Enjoy a day in Cape May

What It Is: Cape May's historic Emlen Physick Estate needed some cleanup after Hurricane Sandy hit South Jersey, but its owners, the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities, reopened to visitors Friday and expected a busy weekend. You can tour the estate today - or do a self-guided tour of wineries around Cape May to get your mind off your troubles.

What To Expect: The Emlen Physick estate is more than a century old, and its 15 rooms are fully restored to Victorian splendor. The "wine-trail" tour goes to Hawk Haven and Natali Vineyards, and sure, it includes tastings.

Event Info: The guided Physick Estate tour runs 1:45 to 2:30 p.m. - following a

1 p.m. MAC trolley tour of Cape May's historic district. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children; combination tickets are available for the trolley tour. The wineries are open noon to 5 p.m.; tickets are $8. For more details, see
