Remember when the Whopper only cost 37 cents? If you don't, that's probably because it was 55 years ago, when Burger King first introduced it's signature sandwich.
To mark the milestone birthday, the fast-food franchise is offering it's original burger for 55 cents Thursday to Sunday. You have to buy another sandwich at full price first, but then you get the second original Whopper - usually $2.50 to $3 each - for 55 cents.
