NEW YORK - Ricky Gervais insists he did nothing wrong as host of the Golden Globes.
The popular comedian was blasted by some for his wisecracks at members of the Hollywood community on Sunday's broadcast. But Gervais says he was just doing his job.
He says on Piers Morgan's talk show airing tonight: "If they didn't want me, they shouldn't have hired me."
Gervais says he believes the targets of his zingers have a sense of humor.
His appearance airs on CNN at 9 p.m.
