Halloween Parade in Hammonton

What Is It: The Kiwanis Club of Hammonton presents its 36th annual Halloween parade tonight.

What To Expect: Three marching bands will participate in addition to several floats, said Bob Schenk, Halloween Parade chairman. Three judges will award up to $700 in prize money. Various dance groups from the town also will be involved.

Event Info: The parade starts at 7 tonight at Egg Harbor Road and Bellevue Avenue and then proceeds up Bellevue Avenue to Third Street in Hammonton. Individual participants will be registered and assembled at Orchard Street and North Egg Harbor Road at 6 tonight. They do not have to pre-register, but merely sign in. The rain date will be Thursday.
