Megadeth at House of Blues
Who Are They: With its nihilistic lyrics, tight instrumental skills, speed and aggressive approach, Megadeth became one of the most popular and successful trash metal bands of the 1980s. The group headlines tonight in Showboat Casino-Hotel.
What To Expect: Led by former Metallica singer-guitarist Dave Mustaine, Megadeth will play its 1992 release, "Countdown to Extinction," from beginning to end in the exact order on the CD. Other songs that will be performed based on a concert earlier this month in New York include "Trust," "Hangar 18" and "Peace Sells." The southern California hard rock trio Kyng will be the opening act.

Diva Bingo at Resorts
What Is It: A Diva Bingo event will be hosted by the cast of "Divas Do AC" tonight at Resorts Casino Hotel. It is presented by The Ladies Invitational Bluefish Tournament to help fight breast cancer.
What To Expect: "Divas" cast members, who are mostly female impersonators, will host bingo. Look for Phyl Craig, who portrays Liza Minnelli. The theme is "pretty in pink." The best-dressed person wins a prize. Outrageous outfits are encouraged. Bingo prizes will be awarded in slot cash. Patrons can sign up for a players card at the promotions booth.

Watoto Children's Choir of Uganda in Linwood
What Is It: Children orphaned by civil war, disease and genocide comprise the internationally acclaimed Watoto Children's Choir of Uganda. The choir performs tonight at Central United Methodist Church in Linwood.
What To Expect: Watoto Children's Choir of Uganda brings a musical message of peace and hope for the children of Africa. The group has performed for presidents and royalty around the globe. This is their seventh visit to Central United Methodist Church. The children are known for their joyful exuberance, colorful native costumes and beautiful voices.
Event Info: The concert kicks off 6:30 tonight at the church on the corner of Central Avenue and Shore Road. The concert is free. A good will offering for the choir will be collected. The international tour serves to raise both awareness of and resources for the 2,000 orphans and young female survivors of brutal war atrocities cared for by the Watoto Children's Ministry.
