Local author: Lanoka Harbor woman writes book about rescue dog

Lisa K. Appello, of the Lanoka Harbor section of Lacey Township, has just published "Zuky's World." Written from a dog's point of view, the book tells the story of the runt of a litter who eventually finds a home with a family he loves. The book is available for $8.95 from Amazon and buybooksontheweb.com. A portion of the proceeds from the book will go the Associated Humane Society and the Popcorn Park Zoo in Lacey Township.
