John Ford Coley starts Stockton's Cape May series

Who Is He: John Ford Coley, the folky-sounding singer of such pop smashes as "Love Is The Answer" and "I'd Really Love To See You Tonight," leads the way in this summer's Stockton Goes to the Beach Concert Series at Cape May Convention Hall. Coley is the headliner for the night; the opening act is Robbie Dupree & The Yacht Rock Revue.

What To Expect: Singer-songwriter Robbie Dupree is best known for his 1980 hit, "Steal Away" and The Yacht Rock Revue claims the title of "the Greatest Show on Surf and the finest tribute to '70s light rock to ever perform anywhere," the producers promise. John Ford Coley starts the series, which is sponsored by Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and runs weekly through Aug. 12.

Event Info: Showtime is 8 p.m. at Convention Hall, 714 Beach Ave., Cape May. Tickets are $35. For more details, see stockton.edu or call 855-708-9699.
