Bocca in Margate

Bocca Coal Fired Bistro has opened on Ventnor Avenue in Margate.

Co-owner Bob Baldwin said Chef Robert Pappas will be turning out Italian classics and coal fired pizza every day in the former location of the Sailfish Cafe.

The restaurant has a full bar, but it's separated from the kid-friendly pizzeria by the main dining room. For the adults, there are happy hour specials from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The restaurant is so new, it doesn't have a website with downloadable menus yet. But it already has a Facebook page, on which it posts about "our soon-to-be-famous cheesesteaks," and solicits input on cocktails and "special events with Tuckahoe Brewing Co."

They're not taking reservations yet, but a private room is reserved for large parties. For more information, call 609-823-6900 or stop by 7805 Ventnor Ave. Margate.
