Ocean City Pops performance among events At The Shore Today

Ocean City Pops plays hits of the '80s

What Is It: Billy Joel, Bette Midler, Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen and David Bowie are all on the program tonight at the Ocean City Music Pier. But it's not that all those pop stars will actually be on the stage - it's just that the Ocean City Pops will be playing their songs with help from two guest singers.

What To Expect: The stars are Jessica Phillips, above, who has made her name on Broadway in shows including "Leap of Faith," "Next to Normal" and "Priscilla Queen of the Desert," and Tony Vincent, another Broadway vet from "Jesus Christ Superstar" and "We Will Rock You." But the music will be from those '80s icons above, and many more - look for the hits to just keep coming.
