Marilyn Bennett, of Sea Isle City, started wading in the ocean during the winter about 5 years ago after she hurt her leg and was concerned about getting arthritis.

Bennett, a beach-tag checker in Sea Isle City during the summer, goes into the cold water about three days per week.
