See 'Scrooge, Unplugged' and dine at Palm

What Is It: This isn't one of those dark, brooding takes on the classic Christmas character, Ebenezer Scrooge. This one mixes his timeless, transformative message with the comic sensibility "of a Marx Brothers movie," as the producers promise. The show also includes a visit from Scrooge's author, Charles Dickens, plus some audience participation.

What To Expect: But you don't go to the Palm just for the show. This is dinner theater - or lunch and dinner theater today, because both are on the menu. You get three courses, with three choices of starters and entrees and two dessert picks, at either meal.

Event Info: Lunch seating starts 1 p.m. and costs $55 for adults, or $35 for kids 12 or younger. Dinner is 6 p.m. and costs $85 per person. Reservations are required; visit thepalm.com/atlanticcity, email BBermel@thepalm.com or call at 609-344-0483.
