Seafood festival in A.C.

The second annual Atlantic City Seafood Festival, which features more than 120 vendors and 50 participating restaurants, will be held rain or shine today and Sunday at Bader Field.

The event features offerings from local restaurants and culinary personalities. Programming also includes the Great Brews of the Garden State, cooking demonstrations, interactive mixology seminars, live performances from local and regional entertainers, a childrens' park and other activities. The Bader Field location provides ample space for multi-cultural restaurants, crafters, as well as other interactive activities/displays. There's even convenient onsite parking.

The festival lasts from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. tonight and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Bader Field, 501 N. Albany Ave., Atlantic City. Admission is free. Food and beverage is a la carte, with prices ranging from $5 to $15 per item. On-site parking is $10. For more information, visit

Airport Festival in Ocean City

The 28th annual Ocean City Airport Festival is being held today at the Ocean City Municipal Airport.

The event includes Ground displays of World War II bombers. The B-25J Mitchell Bomber and the Grumman TBM Avenger torpedo planes, will be featured during the event. There will be air demonstrations and ground displays of classics, antiques, ultra lights, warbirds, home-built aircraft, military vehicles and antique cars. There will be a kite festival by Air Circus of Ocean City, face painting and a paper airplane contest.

The free festival will be held at the airport, 26th and Bay Avenue, Ocean City. Helicopter and airplane rides will be available for a fee. Refreshments also will be available. For more information, visit
