The Cape May County dance troupe Shore Thing will need the votes of the American TV-watching public to continue performing on Paula Abdul’s CBS show “Live to Dance” next Wednesday.

Shore Thing was not voted through by the show’s judges to the finals even though they received approval from all three judges, one of only two acts that performed on Wednesday to receive such praise. Abdul said, “Wow,” and that she was really proud of them. Former Pussycat Dolls singer/dancer Kimberly Wyatt said their routine was amazing. Their performance was a mix of “Alice in Wonderland” and Cirque du Soleil.

For two hours after the show ended at 9 p.m. Wednesday, viewers were given a chance to vote their favorite of the five remaining acts into the finals. The winning act receives $500,000.

“Live To Dance” airs again at 8 p.m. Wednesday on KYW-TV 3.
