At the age of 14 my mother, Barbara Braxton, dropped out of school. She met and married my father and went on to raise four kids. My father was the bread-winner of the house, so my mom was left to raise us. In 1991, at the age of 44, my mother got her first job at a group home working with the disabled. She stayed there until the sudden death of my father in 2002! At the age of 60, my mother went back to school to get her GED! We were very proud of her. My Mother taught me to stay strong, no matter what life brings your way. Just trust in God and He will see you through. - Crystal Fletcher, Atlantic City
