Swift in Museum

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - An exhibit about Taylor Swift's 2011-12 world tour is on display at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville. On display through Nov. 4 are dozens of costumes, instruments, set pieces and props from the "Speak Now World Tour," on which she performed before more than 1.5 million fans during 111 shows in 19 countries spanning four continents. Included in the display is the "Juliet balcony" in which Swift soared above the crowd during each performance of "Love Story."

ROMULUS, Mich. - Detroit Metropolitan Airport says it will offer free wireless Internet service by September. Romulus airport says Boingo Wireless will offer 30 minutes of free access to users willing to watch a 30-second video ad. Boingo will offer extended and higher-speed connections for payment.

Amusement app


- Kings Island amusement park in southwest Ohio has launched a revamped smartphone app for iPhone and Android users. It lets visitors purchase general admission tickets that can then be scanned through a barcode at the front gate. Visitors also can pin the location of friends around the park and find rides, food and restrooms.

No free beer

KODIAK, Alaska - There is no such thing as a free beer, at least on Era Alaska flights. The airline had been offering a free 6-ounce beer to adult passengers but it discontinued the program Tuesday as a courtesy to the state, which prohibits free alcohol from being used as a marketing tool. However, there is no federal law against it once planes are airborne.
