Joe Morton co-stars as Henry Deacon on 'Eureka.' Its second season debuts this week on Syfy.

  • Shayna Rudd, left, Krista Johnson, Katherine Kennedy and Melanie Horn are among the personalities featured in 'Blonde Charity Mafia.'
  • On '10 Things I Hate About You,' Kat (Lindsey Shaw) is a feminist with a razor-sharp tongue.

Tuesday

'10 Things I Hate

About You'

8 p.m., ABC Family

The Bard comes to TV in this small-screen adaptation of the 1999 movie version of Shakespeare's "Taming of the Shrew." Stepping into the roles of Stratford sisters - popular Bianca and independent Kat - are Meaghan Jette Martin and Lindsey Shaw, above. Of course, you could just read the play. But then that would keep you away from all the pretty people.

'Blonde Charity Mafia'

9 p.m., WPSG-TV 57

This docu-series follows the lives of D.C.'s 20-somethings - a crew that includes Shayna Rudd, Krista Johnson, Katherine Kennedy and Melanie Horn, above - who tear up the U.S. capital's social scene, with a dash of philanthropy thrown in. Will it be "The Real Housewives of D.C." minus the houses and spouses? Here's hoping not. There will be a time when this stuff gets old, right? Right? Anyone?

Wednesday

'I Survived a Japanese Game Show'

9 p.m., WPVI-TV 6

The TV equivalent of cotton candy: A dozen Americans jet to the Land of the Rising Sun for a new season of wacky challenges. The winner - but, really, does anyone win here? - nets a cool $250,000.

Friday

'Eureka'

9 p.m., Syfy

Ten new episodes find Jack Carter (Colin Ferguson) booted from his position as sheriff, while Allison (Salli Richardson-Whitfield) is preggers with her recently deceased husband's child. Meanwhile, Henry Deacon (Joe Morton, above) continues his crusade as the town's jack-of-all-trades.

Saturday

'Iconoclasts'

9 p.m., Sundance

The innovative, interesting series offers up a heaping helping of Cajun style, as chef John Besh (he should've been the next Iron Chef!) and Wynton Marsalis dish about New Orleans.
