The Who at Boardwalk Hall

Who Are They: One of the most influential, popular and successful rock bands in history, The Who, still featuring original members singer Roger Daltrey and guitarist Pete Townshend, created chaotic stage shows and wrote rock 'n' roll masterpieces. The Who perform tonight in Boardwalk Hall, Atlantic City.

What To Expect: Billed as "The Who: Quadrophenia & More," their planned setlist for a show on Feb. 12 in Denver featured their 1973 double album "Quadrophenia" played in order from the start of the concert until they left the stage. Their encore included the songs "Who Are You," "Behind Blue Eyes" and "Won't Get Fooled Again." Daltrey and Townshend will be backed by a six-piece touring band that includes Zak Starkey - the oldest son of Ringo Starr - on drums and Simon Townshend - Pete's younger brother - on guitar and backup vocals.

Holocaust drama at Rowan

What Is It: A Holocaust drama based on the story of Charlotte Delbo, "Who Will Carry The Word?" offers a unique theatrical view into one episode from this horrific period in history. It will be performed starting tonight through March 3 in the Westby Hall Black Box Theatre on the Glassboro campus of Rowan University.

What To Expect: The play depicts the lives of 20 women sharing a barracks in Auschwitz. The goal: keep the strongest alive so there will be someone to share their experiences with the world. Student actresses from across the state enact the story of women in Auschwitz. A celebration of the human spirit, "Who Will Carry The Word?" is a portrait of resilience by ordinary people placed in extraordinary - and in this case, horrifying - circumstances. "Who Will Carry The Word?," written in 1966, attempts to describe life inside the concentration camps with an unflinching eye.

Event Info: Performances are 7 and 9 p.m. today, Saturday, Feb. 28, March 1 and 2; 3 and 5 p.m. Sunday; and 3 p.m. March 3 at Rowan University, Route 322, Glassboro, Gloucester County. Tickets are $15 general admission and $10 for seniors, non-Rowan students, alumni and staff. Seating is limited for each performance. Advanced purchase is recommended. Rowan students admitted free with valid ID. For tickets and information, visit or call the box office at 856-256-4545.
