Richie at Borgata

Alabama native Lionel Richie, above, is believed to have sold more than 100 million records worldwide, which includes his work with his original group the Commodores and his solo career. Richie headlines Saturday in the Event Center at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.

Costello and Roots

English singer-songwriter Elvis Costello, above, releases a collaborative CD with the Grammy Award-winning hip-hop band the Roots, titled "Wise Up Ghost," on Tuesday. It is one of the most unexpected and surprising releases of this year.

Dance battle

The "Battle of the Year" attracts all the best teams from around the world, but the Americans haven't won in 15 years. Dante Graham (Laz Alonso) enlists Jason Blake (Josh Holloway, above) to assemble a team of the best dancers and bring the trophy back to America where it started. The movie of the same name opens Friday.

"Prisoners," an action thriller, is the only other nationwide Friday release.

Protect your neck

A new Fox mystery-adventure drama, "Sleepy Hollow," premieres 9 p.m. Monday on WTXF-TV 29. In this modern twist on Washinton Irving's classic, Ichabod Crane is resurrected along with the infamous Headless Horseman. Tom Mison, above, stars.
