Film exorcism

"The Last Exorcism

Part II," which opens Friday, is a sequel to "The Last Exorcism" movie from 2010. Ashley Bell, above, returns.

Ever since "The Exorcist" terrified moviegoers in 1973, Hollywood has had a 40-year fascination with exorcism films. No matter how "The Last Exorcism Part II" does at the box office, it is highly unlikely the big screen has seen its last exorcism picture.

Friday's other releases are the comedy "21 and Over," the adventure film "Jack the Giant Slayer" and the thriller "Phantom."

Country vets

The new CD "Old Yellow Moon," released Tuesday, is the first official collaboration from country music veterans Emmylou Harris, above, and Rodney Crowell since 1975.

The pair will perform March 26 at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia.

'Tested by Zion'

Elliott Abrams, a former deputy national security advisor in the Bush administration, has written "Tested by Zion: The Bush Administration and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict." The book tells of the administration's efforts to broker a deal between the Israelis and Palestinians and takes readers inside the White House and the palaces of Middle Eastern officials.
