Rappers Joseph "Run" Simmons and Darryl "DMC" McDaniels, above, known as hip-hop pioneers Run-D.M.C. perform Saturday in Event Center at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. Though a force in music for decades, this is the group's Atlantic City debut.

Other entertainment in town Saturday includes singer Natalie Cole in Mark G. Etess Arena at Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort and rock band Blue Oyster Cult at Resorts Casino Hotel.

Comic magic

Steve Carell and Jim Carrey, above, portray dueling magicians in the PG-13-rated comedy "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone," opening in movie theaters Friday.

Friday's other nationwide release is the R-rated thriller "The Call," starring Halle Berry, Abigail Breslin and Morris Chestnut.

Bowie's back

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer David Bowie ends his absence with his first studio CD of new material in 10 years with Tuesday's release of "The Next Day."

Bowie, 66, created a 14-track standard version of the album and a 17-track deluxe edition.

Zombie scares

Film writer and director Rob Zombie, who helmed "House of 1,000 Corpses" and "The Devil's Rejects," releases a new movie called "The Lords of Salem" on April 19.

The hardcover book of the same name is released on Tuesday.

Zombie promises the book is a different experience than the upcoming film because it offers much more detail.
