Easter egg hunts in our area

Parents who have children eager to search for Easter eggs will have plenty of options today in southern New Jersey.

Atlantic City offers an Easter egg hunt with the Easter Bunny and Mayor Don Guardian. The Mays Landing Easter egg hunt is for those ages 10 and younger, and they will receive goodie bags. The Ocean City Easter egg hunt is for five age groups up to age 7. The Wildwoods offer two Easter egg hunts, one by the Elks in North Wildwood and the other by Greater Wildwood Jaycees in Wildwood. The Cape May Easter egg hunt is for preschoolers to second graders.

If You Go: In Atlantic City, the egg hunt is held noon to 4 p.m. at Uptown Park, 323 Madison Ave. Call 609-287-6017. In Mays Landing, the egg hunt is 11 a.m. at 2657 Route 50. Call 609-204-1393. In Ocean City, the egg hunt is at 2:30 p.m. from 11th Street to 14th Street on the beach. Call 800-BeachNJ. In the Wildwoods, the North Wildwood egg hunt is noon at the beach at 19th Avenue.
