'Warbirds' lecture at aviation museum
What Is It: Tonight is your last chance to catch the current Historic Lecture Series at the Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum. The speaker is writer and photographer Ken Kula, and his subject is "Warbirds Around the World."
What To Expect: Kula spent 30 years working in air-traffic control as a career, and his passion was also up in the air - he likes traveling to watch air shows. Between his career and his hobby, "Ken has amassed a group of stories and pictures that he will share with the audience," the sponsors promise, including key "moments in aviation history from the 1980s through today."
Event Info: The lecture starts 7 p.m. at the NASW Aviation Museum, on the grounds of the Cape May County Airport, 500 Forrestal Rd., Lower Township. Light refreshments will be served. For more details, see usnasw.org or call 609-886-8787.
