Which side is up?
According to Reynolds, there's really no difference between the dull side and the shiny side of tin foil. The difference happens during the final stage of making foil, when two layers go through the rollers. The side that comes in contact with a roller comes out shiny and the side to the inside stays matte. But the difference doesn't make any difference in how the foil is used. With nonstick foil, the nonstick coating is applied to the dull side.
Not so Simple
Milky Way Simply Caramel (a Milky Way bar without the nougat); and Sandies Simply Shortbread (Pecan Shortbread Sandies without the pecans) from Keebler join the wave of new products named "Simple" or "Simply" to indicate they are sweetened with sugar instead of corn syrup, and don't contain artificial ingredients. However, many products contain TBHQ, the antioxidant preservative tertiary butylhydroquinone, in the oils, or have corn syrup as well as sugar and artificial flavors.
Duncan Hines Simple Mornings, includes six kinds of muffin mix with no high-fructose corn syrup, preservatives, artificial colors or trans fat. Duncan Hines also makes regular muffin mixes in the same six flavors. Although few stores stock both versions of any one flavor.
This Passover, there are many options for kosher wine in a range of prices.

From Israel comes the 2008 Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon, an intense, slightly earthy red that displays plenty of black fruit, plus a trace of spice. The grapes are from the Golan Heights and Upper Galilee, $30.
