Wind Ensemble at Stockton
Who Are They: The South Jersey Area Wind Ensemble performs a concert of the finest American-composed music in its annual side-by-side concert. The ensemble plays tonight in the Performing Arts Center at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in Pomona.
What To Expect: Fifty of southern New Jersey's finest high school and college musicians are invited to sit side by side with the 65-member band for a portion of the concert. The band is composed of professional casino musicians, music teachers and college graduates who have maintained high musical standards since playing in their college bands. This concert is the highlight of the South Jersey Area Wind Ensemble season.
Event Info: The show starts 7:30 tonight at Stockton, 101 Vera King Farris Drive. All tickets are $10 and may be ordered online at stockton.edu/pac or by calling the box office at 609-652-9000. The box office is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 to 7:30 tonight before the performance.
