Good time, good tastes,
good cause in Northfield
What Is It: Atlantic City Country Club hosts a party this evening that's part wine tasting, part art show and all scholarship fundraiser. The At The Shore Wine Tasting Art Show will also let guests taste plenty of hors d'oeuvres and enjoy jazz as they sample from a big menu of beverages and check out the work of 14 talented artists.
What To Expect: The wine tasting features about 10 (at last count) selections from around the world - Germany, Spain, Argentina and California, to name a few. The artists are much more local, with most having roots or homes in South Jersey. Trumpeter Eddie Morgan's Trio will entertain, and the proceeds benefit students majoring in hospitality at Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, Atlantic Cape Community College and Fairliegh Dickinson University.
Event Info: Runs 5 to 8 p.m. at Atlantic City Country Club, 900 Shore Rd., Northfield. Tickets are $25, including collectible wine glass. Cash bar and dinner also are available. For tickets or more details, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call Joyce Cook at 609-449-7145.
