The 11th annual Women’s Expo will be held 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at the Hamilton Mall in Mays Landing.

Recording artists A Great Big World will perform live at 1 p.m. Also performing will be Dave Hangley, of Tabernacle, at 2:30 p.m. A Great Big World, which includes Ian Axel and Chad Vaccarino, are best known for the group’s single, “This Is the New Year.” Hangley recently released his debut album, “American Made,” on the NNS records label based in Linwood.

The today’s event also includes a meet and greet, bridal and back-to-school fashion shows and free 8-by-10 photos with the Little Angel Princesses. A new Matt Blatt Kia Optima will be given away.

Attendees can drop off school supplies for children in need.

WPUR-FM 107.3, commonly known as Cat Country, hosts the Texaco Country Showdown at 1:30 p.m. The Country Showdown is an annual talent contest to find undiscovered country music singers across the country. As many as 100,000 acts compete in the Country Showdown annually, which is considered to be the largest country music talent competition in America.

The radio stations of Townsquare Media are the presenters of this event. Besides Cat Country, they include: WFPG-FM 96.9, Lite Rock; WENJ-FM 97.3, commonly known as ESPN; WSJO-FM 104.9, commonly known as SoJO; and WPG-AM 1450, commonly known as Talk Radio 1450.
