NEW YORK - Yoko Ono, Gloria Steinem and Lauren Bush may have little in common - at first glance.

But the artist, the feminist and the model are joining forces to give female empowerment a global boost.

The campaign is called ImagiNation 365.

It's led by Maiden Nation, an online social platform.

Women around the world - including Ono, Steinem and Bush - created pieces of jewelry that express their vision of what is important to their nation.

Proceeds from sale of mostly bracelets will go to causes chosen by the designers, such as helping Japanese girls after the 2011 nuclear meltdown or job training in Haiti.

The designers live in countries from Poland, Afghanistan and India to Argentina and South Africa. Four are teenagers in Grand Rapids, Mich.
