National judges for Miss America final are eclectic group

The 2014 Miss America National Judges Panel, which will decide the winner Sunday, are composed of:

Deidre Downs Gunn is  Miss America 2005 and the last to be crowned in Atlantic City. She is a chief resident physician in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Alabama Medical Center in Birmingham, Ala.

Carla Hall: The chef is a co-host of ABC’s popular lifestyle series “The Chew.”

Barbara Corcoran is one of the “Sharks” on ABC’s “Shark Tank.”

Amar’e Stoudemire is a professional basketball player who became the first player to be drafted out of high school to be named the NBA Rookie of the Year.

Lance Bass is the ultimate-multihyphenate: singer-actor-producer-writer-entrepreneur-philanthropist. Bass is a former member of the juggernaut boy band ’N Sync.

Joshua Bell is often referred to as the “poet of the violin.” His stunning virtuosity, beautiful tone and charismatic stage presence have brought him universal acclaim.  He has recorded more than 40 CDs and won a Grammy.

Mario Cantone:  The celebrated New York stage actor and stand-up comedian gained critical acclaim with his Tony-nominated one-man show which appeared on Broadway and as a Showtime special. Cantone starred in the Tony Award-winning “Assassins.”
