ATLANTIC CITY - "Programs, get your programs here," 8-year-old Gavin Weis yelled with gusto on the Boardwalk Wednesday morning.

Weis, along with friends and fellow Cub Scouts Richie Gray and Derek Barabei, were among the dozens of scouts stationed along the Boardwalk selling programs for $10 and earplugs for $2.

"I can't wait to see the planes," Weis said.

The three boys are part of Troop 87, based in Somers Point. Pack master Craig Barnabei said his troop was on the Boardwalk by 8 a.m. ready to make a sale. Some of proceeds from the sales go to benefit the troop.

"Get on out there, boys," Barnabei said. "I want two of you holding up programs at all times."
