Miller, 16, averages 12.33 yards per rush and 16 yards per catch. He's picked off three passes this season.

"Wherever the ball is, that's where I want to be," Miller said.

Bridgeton (2-0) plays at Ocean City (0-2) at 7 p.m. today in a Cape-Atlantic League National Conference game.

In a telephone conversation before Wednesday's practice, Miller answered a few questions, including how he got his unusual first name.

On how he started playing football: I started in a sandlot. I always liked football, so I asked my mom if she could sign me up. I was always rough. I liked the contact.

On playing football at 5-foot-7, 145 pounds: My coaches always told me I had a big heart. I was never afraid.

On the school's reaction to Bridgeton's 2-0 start: Everybody's starting to believe in us. We're playing as a team and not giving up.

On his first name: I don't know where it comes from. My mom (Shannon) says she got it from a rapper. (Cappadonna is the stage name of rapper Darryl Hill, a member of the Wu-Tang Clan rap group). People never heard of a name like that. It's unique to me. It's different. I like it.

On playing offense and defense: I'm on the field the whole time. I like being out there. I don't want to ever come off the field.
