Rowan University senior Stephanie Labas (Millville) tied the Profs' career home-run record Wednesday with a grand slam in the first game of a doubleheader against Ursinus College.

Rowan won the first game 12-3 and the second 6-0. Labas' 25th career home run tied the mark set by Nicolina Veneziano, a 2012 graduate.

Rowan pitcher LeAnne Miller (Vineland) earned the decision in the 12-3 win over Ursinus, allowing three hits and one run in three innings. In the same game, Alysa Romero (Vineland) was 1-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored.

Muhlenberg College centerfielder Devon Barber (Absegami) went 4-for-6 with two walks to help sweep Swarthmore College 9-2 and 9-3 Thursday.

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute sophomore Jocilyn Rudisill (Absegami) reached base in 7-of-8 plate appearances during a doubleheader sweep of Castleton State. She was 3-for-5, including a two-out, two run double, walked twice and was hit by a pitch.

Rowan junior catcher Meagan Lee (Oakcrest) had one hit and one RBI in a 4-0 win over Kean University in the second game of a doubleheader Friday.

Rutgers-Newark senior left fielder Nicole Odell (St. Joseph) hit a two-out RBI single for the team's only run in a 10-1 loss to William Paterson on Friday.

Rutgers-Camden junior Gabby Colon (Buena Regional) went 2-for-3 with two RBIs in a 5-1 win over New Jersey City University in the second game of a doubleheader Saturday. In the same game, Rutgers-Camden freshman left fielder Lindsay Day (Oakcrest) hit an infield single and scored.

Baseball

Rutgers-Camden junior Ryan Farabella (Buena Regional) took a no-hitter into the eighth inning and finished with a one-hit shutout in a 3-0 win against Kean University in the first game of a New Jersey Athletic Conference doubleheader.

The win earned him NJAC Pitcher of the Week honors on Monday.

Rutgers-Camden freshman John Waters (Absegami) improved to 3-0 in an 8-4 nonconference win over Fairleigh Dickinson-Florham on Tuesday. Waters worked seven innings, allowed seven hits and three runs and struck out four.

The College of New Jersey sophomore Anthony Cocuzza (St. Augustine Prep) had two hits, a run and an RBI in a 9-4 loss to Alvernia College on Wednesday. Cocuzza had two hits and two RBIs in a 10-8 loss to Ursinus on Thursday.

Ursinus freshman Chris Jablonski (St. Augustine Prep) drove in three runs as the Bears snapped a five-game losing skid with that 10-8 win over TCNJ.

Rowan's Steven Melchiorre (Hammonton) struck out 12 batters in a complete-game effort in a 4-2 loss to Ramapo on Saturday.

Rutgers-Camden freshman Chris Scarlett (Holy Spirit) threw four shutout innings in relief in a 4-2 loss to Kean in the second game of a doubleheader.

Women's lacrosse

TCNJ senior Alex Spark (Southern Regional) scored a game-high seven goals in a 17-6 home win over Ursinus on Tuesday and added four goals in a 15-2 win against Manhattanville College on Thursday.

Lycoming College sophomore Casey Maguire (Egg Harbor Township) netted three goals in a 13-9 loss to Alvernia in a Commonwealth Conference game Thursday.

Track and field

Rowan senior Demetrius Rooks (Absegami) won the men's 400-meter hurdles in 52.58 seconds at the Danny Curran Invitational at Widener University on Friday.

Rowan junior Megan Borz (Buena Regional) was sixth in the women's 1,500 meter run in 4:56.09 at the Danny Curran Invitational. Freshman Christin Bettis (Hammonton) was eighth in 4:58.18.

Tennis

West Chester University senior Alexandra Santoro (Holy Spirit) was named PSAC East Athlete of the Week with a combined 7-1 singles and doubles record last week.

Stonehill College senior Paige Frost (Holy Spirit) won a 6-0, 6-2 decision at third singles and an 8-4 win at first doubles with Kirsti Toegemann in a 9-0 sweep over Assumption College in a Northeast-10 Conference match Wednesday.

Lynchburg College sophomore Melissa Drinkard (Ocean City) earned an 8-6 win at first doubles with partner Betsy Stipa against Randolph College Sunday.

Crew

Old Dominion University's Kelea Woods (Egg Harbor Township), Ashley Mauroff (Absegami) and Ashley Nardiello (Ocean City) rowed the varsity four to victory over UNC-Chapel Hill on Saturday. Allison Giegerich (Holy Spirit), Colleen Rennie (Absegami) and Jenna Sterling (Absegami) helped the varsity-eight boat to victory as well.

University of Delaware sophomore Joe Mohnack (St. Augustine Prep) contributed to a lightweight-eight victory against Georgetown University on Saturday in Camden.

Barry University freshman Bethany Desmond (Holy Spirit) rowed with the varsity eight in a dual victory over Nova Southeastern on Saturday.

Figure skating

Adrian College freshman Tricia DeFelice (Ocean City) won the Senior Ladies Long program, International Solo Ice Dance and Grand Solo Ice Dance events to help the Bulldogs to victory at the Maize & Blue Match-Up at the University of Michigan last weekend.
