Jake Bleyhl made six saves to become Buena Regional High School's career leader in shutouts with a 5-0 victory over visiting Lower Cape May Regional in a Cape-At-lantic League National Conference boys soccer game Wednesday.

Coach Tom Ruhl said Bleyhl has 16 career shutouts and that the old record was held by 1998 graduate Rich Giovinazzi, who had 15. Ruhl said the Chiefs also tied the 1992 team's record for most shutouts in a season with nine.

Miguel Hernandez led the Chiefs' offense with two goals and one assist. Josue Guadarrama added one goal and two assists, and AJ Gazzara had a goal and an assist. Roberto Sanchez also scored.

For Lower Cape May, Eric Barikian made six saves.

Oakcrest's Ryan Costello made eight saves.
