Atlantic City High School senior Akwasi Adu scored with two minutes left in the game to break the school's single-season scoring record in a 3-1 Cape-Atlantic League American Conference loss to Egg Harbor Township.

It was Adu's 18th goal of the season tying him with Middle Township's Jacob Cowan for the league lead. Vikings' coach Maurice Lozzi said Adu broke the old record of 17 set by Krste Tankowski in 1990.

Egg Harbor Township jumped out to a three goal lead in the first half it never relinquished.

Ardit Ala scored twice, once in the 11th minute and then four minutes, 40 seconds later. Grant Spoltore added a goal for the Eagles in the 26th minute.

Goalie Brad Watkins made six saves.

For Atlantic City, Juan Elizalde made 12 saves.
