Bobby Mascio and Jared Irwin each scored for Wildwood High School as the Warriors beat Clayton 2-1 for the first time in program history in a Tri-Country Conference boys soccer game Wednesday.

Both goals were scored in the first half and assisted by Yesiel Colon. Goalkeeper Mike Veltri had 13 saves for the Warriors.

Cade Gilson scored Clayton's goal in the second half. Goalie Derek Foglein had 12 stops.

Nick Auleta found Shane Guyer twice in the first half, giving Hammonton a lead it never relinquished. Andrew Slater made eight saves and recorded his third shutout of the season.

For Ocean City, Evan McCardell made eight saves.
