Buena Regional finished second, fourth and fifth for a one point edge over visiting Wildwood Catholic in a Cape-Atlantic League girls cross country tri-meet Tuesday.
The Chiefs also took ninth through 12th place in the 28-29 victory.
Gina Testa was Buena's top finisher in 20 minutes, 17 seconds for second place. The Chiefs also beat Sacred Heart 17-50 to start the season 2-0.
Wildwood Catholic's Emily Johnson finished first in 19:55 and Grace Lederer contributed with a third-place finish in 20:30.
The Crusaders started the season 1-1 with a 16-50 victory over Sacred Heart.
