Bridgeton's Kenny Hunter led all local boys in the 5K with his sixth-place finish in 17 minutes, 37 seconds at the Cumberland Cross Country Classic at Cumberland Regional High School on Friday.

Hannah Dietrich from Cape May Tech led all local girls in 22:22 to finish fourth in the 5K at the five-school event.

The Cumberland Regional boys team finished second behind Schalick and Bridgeton.

For the girls, Cumberland finished fourth, Cape May Tech fifth, and Bridgeton was sixth. Dennis Spence of Cumberland finished seventh, while teammate Justin Newkirk came in 10th.

Cape May Tech's Monica Powers finished fifth and Tia Higbee from Cumberland took seventh.
