The unbeaten Southern Regional High School field hockey team scored six goals in the first half and went on to beat visiting Brick Memorial 10-0 Thursday in a Shore Conference Class A South game. Southern (13-0) is ranked eighth in The Press Elite 11.
Arielle Galgano led the Rams with two goals to increase her team-leading total to 11. Also for Southern, Elyse Broderick scored a goal and had three assists, and Sam Burns had a goal and two assists. Freshman Maddison Skeie scored and added an assist. Rams goalie Anastasia Pona didn't have to make a save.
