Ghe Hammonton High School girls soccer team remained unbeaten with a 1-0 win over Mainland Regional in a Division II game in the Cape-Atlantic League American Conference on Thursday.

Hammonton's Brigette Alessandrini earned her league-leading fifth shutout with four saves.

Lauren Berger scored for the Blue Devils four minutes into the second half. Berger collected a rebound after a save by Mainland goalie Brooke Vitale (eight saves) to get the game's only score.

Millville's Jamie Parent scored with five minutes left in regulation to make it 2-2. All the scoring was in the second half.

Veronica Gorka made it 1-0 for host Oakcrest, and Emily Gifford tied it for Millville. The Falcons went up 2-1 on Dominique Barber's goal.

Millville's Ashli Weems had 10 saves. Oakcrest's Christina Garguilo made seven saves.
