Nikki Abad scored and had an assist as Cape May Tech advanced in the New Jersey Technical Association Tournament by beating Atlantic County Institute of Technology 2-1 Thursday.

Abad started the scoring for the Hawks in the first minute and assisted on a goal by Farra Collins in the 26th minute. Cape May Tech's defense held strong in the second half for the win and Danielle Pennington made 12 saves.

Jamie Barber scored for Atlantic County Institute of Technology in the second half and Anna Attardi made 13 saves.
