Sacred Heart High School survived defeated Millville 4-1 victory in a Cape-Atlantic League nonconference match Friday.
The Lions are the No. 11 team in the Press Elite 11.
Four of the five matches went to three sets, inlcuding second doubles. Sacred Heart's Kelly Hullihen and Danielle Lugo won the first set, dropped the second and won the point with a 7-5 third set.
Abby Bencie fought back from a first set loss to win 6-4, 6-2 and clinch a crucial point at third singles.
For Millville, Erin Chard (7-4) upset Amanda Goff (9-1) at first singles 1-6, 6-2, 6-1.
