Cody Stashak pitched a seven-inning no-hitter as Cumberland County Community College beat host Middlesex County College 6-0 in the first game of a baseball doubleheader sweep Sunday.

Cumberland County (26-11) won the second game 15-2.

Stashak (Oakcrest) struck out six and walked none. He hit one batter, and the Dukes committed two errors.

Stashak doubled in two runs in the first game, and Devin McCann added an RBI double.

Joe Palmer was the winning pitcher of the second game, allowing four hits in six innings with four strikeouts and one walk. Stashak was 2-for-4 with four RBIs in the second game, and McCann was 3-for-3 with three RBIs.

Atlantic Cape Community College softball: The Buccaneers swept a doubleheader against Lehigh Carbon Community College (Pa.) in Mays Landing, 11-4 and 10-5.

Courtney Perkins (Oakcrest) was the winning pitcher of both games. Perkins had two doubles and two runs in the first game. Sam Sweeney (Absegami) had two hits and two runs.

Holly Heacock and Perkins each had three hits for the winners in the second game, and Sara Wasserman (Oakcrest) had two hits. Kassie Barrett (Mainland Regional) and Danielle Kebert (Cape May Tech) each scored two in the second game.

Atlantic Cape Community is 11-5 overall and finished its home schedule at 8-2.
