Williamstown bumps St. Joseph out of top spot in football Elite 11

The Williamstown High School football team takes over the top spot in The Press Elite 11 rankings this week.

Few teams have been more impressive this season than the Braves. They have beaten their last two opponents - Millville and Washington Township - by a combined score of 83-6.

Williamstown (10-0) will host Atlantic City (8-2) in a South Jersey Group V semifinal Friday at 7 p.m.

St. Joseph, which had held the top spot since the start of the season, falls to No. 4 after losing to Hammonton 14-6 last Wednesday.
