Thanksgiving football preview: Millville vs. Vineland

Millville running back Rob Ennis is pursued by Mainland’s Cole Gasparini.

Why this game is special: This is one of the longest running Thanksgiving rivalries in the country. The teams first met in 1893. Millville has dominated the rivalry the past 20 years with Vineland's last win coming in 2008.

Millville update: A win Thursday gives Millville its third straight winning season. The Thunderbolts feature one of the region's top running backs in sophomore Rob Ennis (187 carries for 1,337 yards). Millville quarterback Rashon Sorrell has nine touchdown passes.

Vineland update: The Fighting Clan has dropped four straight, including a 54-12 loss to Camden in a consolation game last Saturday. Standout running back Isaiah Spencer injured his ribs in the game and left in the second quarter.
